Job summary

Daubert Chemical Company in Forest View, IL is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (3pm–11:30pm). The role requires at least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a chemical manufacturing setting, and involves electrical/piping work, safety compliance, and CMMS documentation.

Offering $28.00-$32.00/hr base pay, bonus potential, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO and holidays, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience in chemical processing equipment preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; related training preferred.
• Must be able to operate forklifts safely.
• Able to read basic blueprints; P&ID is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
• Follow 5S and safety practices daily.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair production equipment in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Read blueprints; electrical troubleshooting of 460/220/110 VAC.
• Install and maintain piping systems and instrumentation.
• Document repairs in CMMS and manage planned vs unscheduled work orders.
• Support after-hours outages in rotating call-in schedule.
