Job summary

Mi-Tech Tungsten Metals LLC in Indianapolis, USA, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Support Technician to provide hands-on support to the Maintenance Department. The role focuses on machine coolant and equipment support, monitoring coolant levels, changing coolant, and assisting with routine maintenance.

This hourly position also covers general facility and grounds upkeep to maintain a safe, clean manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to safely handle industrial coolants, lubricants, and cleaning materials.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Manufacturing/industrial experience showing basic mechanical aptitude.
• Prior coolant or fluid-maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled coolant changes and monitor coolant levels.
• Clean and maintain coolant tanks, screens, filters, pumps, hoses and related components; keep records.
• Maintain facility grounds, parking areas, sidewalks and entrances.
• Perform routine outdoor maintenance including snow/ice removal as assigned.
• Assist Maintenance Technicians with assigned maintenance activities.

The Industrial Maintenance Support Technician provides hands‑on support to the Maintenance Department with a primary focus on machine coolant and equipment support. This position is responsible for monitoring and maintaining coolant levels and condition, performing routine coolant changes, maintaining coolant-related equipment, and assisting Maintenance Technicians with routine maintenance activities.

The position also supports general facility and grounds upkeep to maintain a safe, clean, and organized manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled coolant changes and monitor coolant levels and replenish coolant as required.
• Clean and maintain coolant tanks, screens, filters, pumps, hoses, and related components. Keeping accurate records of cleaning and maintenance.
• Maintain facility grounds, parking areas, sidewalks, entrances, and exterior work areas.
• Perform routine groundskeeping, seasonal cleanup, snow/ice removal, and general outdoor maintenance as assigned.
• Assist Maintenance Technicians with assigned maintenance activities.
