Job summary

Riverdale Mills Corporation, a leading producer of galvanized and PVC coated welded wire mesh, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to coordinate and perform maintenance across a range of industrial machinery at its Northbridge, MA facility.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, read manuals, and ensure safe operations while collaborating with the maintenance team on projects and SOPs. A background in heavy industry with CMMS experience is desired.

Qualifications

• Troubleshooting and repairing complex facilities equipment or systems using necessary tools.
• Ability to understand, read and revise SOPs and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service.
• Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs.
• Performs mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of heavy industrial processing machinery.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Work safely and in compliance with OSHA rules and regulations.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Manager to ensure high reliability for site critical utility and production systems; develop SOPs and PMPs.
