Job summary

Management Performance Associates is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for our Georgia plant. This hourly role reports to the Maintenance Leader and focuses on maintaining mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to keep production running smoothly.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, safety compliance, reading blueprints, performing alignments, welding, and motor work. Travel for training may be required; strong problem-solving and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; one-year technical certificate preferred.
• Two to three years of relevant experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
• Familiarity with mechanical and electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments.
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Address process and equipment issues; perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve safety and efficiency.
• Follow safety and housekeeping policies to maintain a safe work environment.
• Use machines, equipment, and measuring instruments for precision alignment, maintenance, welding, and repair tasks.
• Plan and execute lubrication and maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to guide assembly and repair processes.
• Travel as needed for training and other purposes.
• Maintain regular attendance and complete records.
