Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work 2nd, 3rd or 12-hour shifts including overtime.

Responsibilities

• Respond rapidly to production breakdowns with urgency.
• Operate lathes, milling machines, drills and surface grinders for replacement parts.
• Interpret blueprints, sketches or specs.
• Diagnose and remedy machine faults and determine repairs.
• Install plant processing equipment including piping.
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps (vacuum, centrifugal, diaphragm, gear, reciprocating).
• Inspect equipment for proper lubrication and perform preventive maintenance.
• Weld metal objects using TIG, oxyacetylene, brazing or arc welder.
• Perform simple adjustments on motors and controls.
• Follow LOTO policy to isolate energy before maintenance.
• Learn operating and maintenance requirements of all production machines.
