Job summary
A leading recycling company in St. Louis is looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic. This role focuses on the maintenance, repair, and inspection of industrial shredders and concentrators. Qualifications
- Experience in a scrap metal recycling yard or medium to heavy industrial environment preferred.
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
- Must be willing to complete a drug screen, physical and background check.
Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair tasks for hydraulic, electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems.
- Complete routine inspections and conduct maintenance tasks with limited interruptions to production.
- Inspect, install, rig, modify, remove, and repair motors, belts, and sensors.
