Job summary

Prime Conduit, Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for night shift operations at our Florida manufacturing facility.

This role maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs production equipment, including extrusion and fabrication machinery, to keep plant operations safe and efficient. Preferred maintenance or trade certification, with a compensable range of $26.82 to $29.81 per hour based on DOE and certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining industrial or manufacturing equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical or electrical equipment.
• Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, or technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and lubrication on production machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Assist production personnel with equipment troubleshooting and operational issues.
• Inspect maintenance work to ensure quality and safety standards.
• Maintain work orders, maintenance logs, and preventive maintenance records.
• Assist with equipment installation and plant improvement projects.
• Respond to urgent maintenance situations affecting production.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance tools, parts, and supplies.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Participate in training and skill development programs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.

Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Night Shift | 12-Hour (7:00pm-7:00am) Schedule

Prime Conduit, Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support night shift operations at our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial production equipment to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.

Maintenance or trade certification is preferred but not required.

Position Summary

The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs on plant production equipment, including extrusion and fabrication machinery.

This role works closely with production and maintenance leadership to minimize downtime, maintain equipment reliability, and support continuous manufacturing operations.

You May Be a Great Fit If You Have

• Experience maintaining industrial or manufacturing equipment
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical or electrical equipment
• Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment

• Experience working in manufacturing, plastics, extrusion, or industrial environments

Minimum Qualifications

Education

High School Diploma or GED required

Technical certification or trade training preferred

Experience

Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

• Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic issues

Schedule

Night Shift - 12 Hour Schedule

Typical schedule example:

Week 1

Work: Sun / Thu / Fri - (7:00pm-7:00am)

Week 2

Work: Mon / Tues / Wed / Sat (7:00pm-7:00am)

This schedule allows every other weekend off while supporting 24/7 plant operations.

Compensation

$26.82 - $29.81 per hour

Pay is based on experience, certifications, and technical skills.

Employees with electrical certifications may qualify for Journeyman-level compensation and higher wage progression opportunities.
