Job summary

FXI is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. You will maintain and repair equipment to ensure uninterrupted operations, diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, and perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, motors, and related systems.

Ideal candidates have a strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on experience, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. A high school diploma and 5+ years in industrial maintenance are required, with certifications a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or related field.
• Certifications in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs on motors, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and other systems.
• Conduct inspections and tests to identify potential issues and address them before failure occurs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with production staff to address equipment malfunctions and optimize performance.
• Install new equipment and systems, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
• Assist in the planning and execution of equipment upgrades or modifications.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and recommendations for future action.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Adhere to workplace safety protocols and wear required PPE.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper storage of tools and equipment.
