Job summary

QUIETFLEX MANUFACTURING CO LP is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to install and maintain production machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and smooth facility operations. Responsibilities include repairing mechanical and hydraulic systems, welding, fabrication, and reading mechanical drawings.

The role requires 2+ years of mechanical experience in manufacturing, a high school diploma or GED, and apprenticeship or equivalent training in machine repair.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 4 year apprenticeship in Machine Repair or 6 years of mechanical trades experience.
• Certifications in Welding, Electrical, and Mechanics preferred; PLC training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular repair, service and maintenance activities on manufacturing machinery.
• Perform preventative maintenance and requisition parts and equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns in a professional and timely manner.
• Assist with installation of new equipment.
• Maintain accurate departmental records.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and manuals.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety policies.
• Coordinate maintenance with production to minimize impact on output.
