Job summary

The Greenbrier Companies is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to diagnose and repair pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical issues on building and production equipment. This role focuses on breakdowns, replacements, adjustments, and repairs to keep production lines running smoothly.

Responsibilities include developing maintenance programs, assisting with root-cause analysis of failures, and maintaining records of parts used and maintenance performed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to work with tools such as a welder, cutting torch, grinder, lathe, mill, drill, and meter.
• 1+ year of experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements maintenance procedures for equipment.
• Diagnoses and repairs pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical issues on railcars and machinery.
• Maintains lift tables and lift jacks; ensures equipment is ready for production.
• Maintains parts inventory and records of maintenance performed.
