Job summary

Talent With Heart is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to oversee mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems in our Georgia plant. This hourly role reports to the Maintenance Leader and emphasizes safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

You will address issues, perform preventive maintenance, and document activities while adhering to lock-out/tag-out procedures and safety policies. The role requires up-to-date technical skills and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• One-year certificate from college or technical school.
• Two to three years of related experience and/or training.
• Combined knowledge of mechanical technology with electrical and electronic circuits.
• Must pass the Bennett Mechanical test.

Responsibilities

• Address process and equipment issues, perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Enhance safety, quality, and plant efficiency.
• Follow safety and housekeeping policies to ensure a safe work environment.
• Use machines and measurement tools for alignment, maintenance, and repair.
• Plan and execute lubrication and operational maintenance on machinery.
• Assist with developmental projects and maintain data and reports.
• Read blueprints and diagrams to guide repairs and assembly.
• Travel for training and other purposes as needed.
• Maintain regular attendance and perform miscellaneous duties.
