Mechanic – Manufacturing
Full-Time | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts | 1st Shift: 6:00 AM–6:00 PM

The Job Center is looking for an experienced Mechanic to help keep production equipment running safely, efficiently, and at the highest quality standards.

What You’ll Do:
- Troubleshoot production equipment and identify the root cause of mechanical and process problems.
- Perform machine and die setups, alignment, adjustments, and repairs.
- Replace worn or failed mechanical components and perform basic electrical troubleshooting.
- Use precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and feeler gauges.
- Support Operators during startups, changeovers, and troubleshooting.
- Work with Quality to verify samples and make adjustments before production is released.
- Perform and document preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and equipment failures.
- Document repairs, adjustments, parts, and work orders using CMMS when applicable.
- Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
What You Bring:
- Prior machine maintenance experience – required.
- Industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience – preferred.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform root-cause analysis and identify effective corrective actions.
- Experience reading mechanical drawings and schematics.
- Skilled with hand and power tools.
- Experience with machine alignment, precision measurement, and die maintenance.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting skills – preferred.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with Production, Quality, and other team members.
- High school diploma or GED – required.
- Technical/vocational training – preferred.
- Knowledge of LOTO and safe work practices.
Physical Requirements:
This is a hands-on manufacturing/warehouse position requiring:
- Prolonged standing, bending, lifting, and twisting.
- Ability to lift 50–100 lbs.
- Ability to work in fluctuating and extreme temperatures.
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
