Job summary

Boise Cascade Company is seeking a skilled technician to install, maintain and repair machinery and equipment following specifications and blueprints. You will use hand tools, power tools, hoist cranes, welding equipment and testing devices to install parts and troubleshoot systems.

You will visually inspect, test and measure components, dismantle defective machines, and replace parts using precision instruments and lubrication, ensuring reliable operation and safety in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• Experience installing, maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment following specifications.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
• Knowledge of testing equipment and lubrication procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair machinery, equipment and systems as specified.

Job description

Install, maintain and repair machinery, equipment and systems following specification, blueprints manual and drawings. using hands tools, power tools, hoist cranes, welding equipment and measuring TESTING EQUIPMENT. Visually inspects and test machinery and equipment, using electrical and electronic test equipment. Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts following specification and blueprints using precision measuring instruments and hand tools. Clean and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears and other parts of machinery, using rags, brushes and grease gun.
