Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and mechanical systems preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude required.

Responsibilities

• Examine machines and mechanical equipment to diagnose source of trouble.
• Dismantle machines and reassemble if necessary.
• Replace broken and worn parts.
• Order replacement parts if required.
• Make necessary adjustments to ensure proper operation.
• Maintain and repair building structures and equipment including electrical switches, fixtures, motors, plumbing, etc.
• Repair or overhaul engines and related components such as pistons, bearings, carburetors, valves.
• Overhaul transmissions, fuel systems, lighting, and ignition systems.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor.
