Job summary

Atlas Roofing Shingle and Underlayment in Franklin, OH is seeking a Maintenance Electrician. You will install, calibrate, repair, and maintain electronic equipment, follow safety rules, and inspect devices daily to ensure machine performance.

You will interpret wiring diagrams and use test equipment to troubleshoot and modify systems on the Shingle Line. The role requires at least 1.5 years of industrial electrician experience, ability to pass Ramsey Electrical Testing, and rotating

Qualifications

• Minimum 1.5 years industrial electrician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to pass Ramsey Electrical Testing.
• Must be able to work rotating shift schedule and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, repair, design, construct, adjust and perform preventative maintenance on electronic equipment.
• Follow plant and safety rules including PPE requirements.
• Daily inspection of devices essential for machine performance and data collection.
• Maintain shift logs for review by supervision and plant personnel.
• Analyze wiring diagrams, blueprints and schematics; ensure drawings are up-to-date.
• Use meters and test equipment to troubleshoot and modify equipment as needed.
• Troubleshoot electrical equipment on the Shingle Line and maintain instrumentation like heat controllers and transmitters.

Atlas Roofing Shingle and Underlayment is seeking aMaintenance ElectricianforFranklin, OH.

Maintenance Electrician Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for installing, calibrating, repairing, designing, constructing, adjusting, modifying, and performing preventative maintenance on all types of electronic equipment.
• Responsible for following all plant and safety rules including all safety Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Perform daily inspection of all electronic devices necessary for machine performance and data collection to produce a quality product.
• Maintain daily shift inspection and repair logs for review by supervision, and other plant personnel.
• Analyze and reviews wiring diagrams, blueprints and schematics. Checks to insure electrical drawings are up-to-date.
• Use various types of meters and test equipment proficiently to allow for sound decision-making in the troubleshooting process. Able to communicate information to maintenance supervision and engineering to assist in analyzing equipment or for the purpose of making equipment modifications.
• Troubleshoot, locate and isolate problems associated with electrical equipment on the Shingle Line.
• Maintain plant instrumentation such as heat controllers and recording devices, concentration transmitters, level controls, and flow control devices.
• Work with maintenance supervisor to insure a sufficient level of back up spares for all electronic equipment.
• Assist with maintenance as needed.

Maintenance Electrician Experience

• Minimum of one and a half (1.5) years industrial electrician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to pass Ramsey Electrical Testing
• Must be able to work rotating shift schedule and overtime

• Tools: Must be able to use power tools, including electrical testing and measuring equipment.

Maintenance Electrician Education, Licenses & Certifications
