Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East seeks a skilled maintenance technician to troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate industrial equipment in a manufacturing setting. The role requires reading electrical schematics, performing preventive maintenance to ISO standards, and supporting ISO quality programs.

You will work with voltmeters/amps, install and diagnose VSDs up to 100hp, and handle mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, including calibration and metrology tasks.

Qualifications

• 2-year associate degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience working on industrial equipment preferred.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, modify, and calibrate industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks per ISO standards and PM work orders.
• Read and understand electrical schematics; use V.O.M. to troubleshoot electrical/electronic problems.
• Repair and troubleshoot AC/DC Variable Speed Drive Systems (up to 100hp, 480v, 3phase).
• Install, repair and troubleshoot flow meters, pressure and temperature transmitters.
• Use voltmeter and ammeter in troubleshooting; understand NEC, explosion proof and intrinsic wiring practices.
• Troubleshoot and adjust mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and power transmission systems.
• Install piping, move materials, and align machinery with hand tools and measuring devices.
• Complete shop records and document calibrations to support ISO and quality programs.
