Industrial Mechanic

IMSCO Technical – Industrial Mechanical Services Company.

Industrial Mechanic will work with a team of trained Industrial Mechanics across various industrial settings. The role involves the use of all types of industrial hand tools and motorized equipment to complete projects within defined scope, time parameters, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Report to Project Manager for job assignments.
• Report to Job Lead on site.
• Communicate with Project Manager and Job Lead.
• Communicate effectively in person, by telephone, or by computer.
• Meet personal safety requirements, complete safety training, and comply with all safety regulations.
• Travel as required.

Core Requirements

• Industrial Mechanic – Millwright with 1–5 years experience in an industrial setting.
• Proficient at welding and metal fabrication (preferred).
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools used in industrial maintenance, building erection, and equipment installation.
• Able to align, assemble, and disassemble machinery; troubleshoot mechanical issues; perform routine maintenance.
• Able to adapt quickly and follow Job Lead directions to complete projects safely and on time.
• Physical ability to perform tasks that may involve prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities required for job duties.
• Can lift up to 70 lbs daily.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Pass drug test and background check.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
