Job summary

Vestis is seeking a team member for our Bowling Green, KY industrial laundry facility. You will be responsible for safe, expeditious handling of merchandise and accurate processing through washers and dryers.

The role requires following safety procedures, handling slings, and recording batch information. You will work as part of a team, with attention to quality control, moisture checks, and equipment safety.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in basic math and attention to detail.
• Ability to understand and follow training, written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication skills and reliability.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Check machine safety devices before operating equipment and document results.
• Load and unload washers/dryers, manage slings and batch tickets, and ensure correct batch processing.
• Record weights and batch information accurately in system forms.
• Verify moisture and temperature levels and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Identify damaged slings and participate in continuous safe production practices.
