Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is looking for a Wash Aisle Operator in Nashville, TN. This non-exempt, full-time role involves loading and unloading industrial washers, monitoring cycles, and ensuring smooth flow of textiles through the wash aisle.

You will report to the Production Manager and work as part of a team in a production environment. Ideal candidates are capable of standing/walking for long periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and following safety procedures with appropriate PPE.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
• Lift up to 25 pounds and handle textiles in a production setting.
• Work as part of a production team with flexibility for daily needs.
• Maintain safety by using required PPE and following procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and operate industrial washers, tumblers, extractors, lifts, and related laundry equipment.
• Monitor washing and drying cycles and input data into automated systems.
• Maintain an efficient flow of textiles through the wash aisle and transport materials to the next stage.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, process issues, or quality concerns to supervision.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and proper use of PPE.
