Vestis is seeking a team-oriented associate to perform workflow in an industrial laundry facility in Indianapolis, IN. You will handle garments from staging to hanging, ensuring proper presentation and quality. The role requires adherence to safety and cleanliness standards and may involve weekend shifts.

The position involves repetitive motions, lifting, bending, and standing for long periods. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and prior warehouse or laundry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Basic training provided; must be able to understand written and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic math skills is preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication abilities are required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to meet attendance schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepares work station for daily operations.
• Transfers hangers from rack to shirt or pant hanging aid.
• Dresses shirts on hangers and adjusts sleeves as needed.
• Removes pants from tub or table, positions on hanger, and secures.
• Identifies merchandise repairs not meeting quality standards and tags item for repair.
• Ensures garments are placed on open conveyors and maintains a safe, clean work area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
