Job summary

Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort in Mount Pleasant, MI is seeking a Facilities/Laundry Equipment Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on commercial laundry systems, including large washers, dryers, conveyors, and related water and air systems. You will work under the Facilities Manager on the 2nd shift.

Responsibilities include rebuilding pneumatic/hydraulic valves, reading service manuals and schematics, instructing laundry staff, maintaining parts stock, and communicating

Qualifications

• 5 years in building maintenance with equipment repair experience or 2 years in a laundry environment.
• Experience with commercial laundry equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Must have a valid Michigan driver’s license and be able to obtain Tribal Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair commercial laundry equipment including washers, dryers, conveyors, boilers, exhausts, and water/air systems.
• Rebuild pneumatic and hydraulic valves and actuators.
• Review manuals and schematics for equipment service work.
• Instruct Laundry associates on proper equipment operating techniques.
• Use diagnostic tools (multimeters, meters, testers, micrometers, calipers) for maintenance and repair.
• Keep parts stocked to minimize downtime of laundry equipment.
• Communicate updates on equipment problems and scheduling via email.
• Perform all duties of Building Maintenance associates.
• Follow SECR hospitality rules with all guests and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain confidentiality and a professional demeanor at all times.
