Vestis is seeking a dependable team member for our industrial laundry facility in Appleton, WI. You will perform hands-on work as part of a shift, ensuring the safe, expeditious handling of merchandise into and out of the laundry.

Responsibilities include operating washers/dryers, verifying batch tickets, recording weights, and maintaining quality and safety standards in a fast-paced environment. Strong reliability and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand all required training, written, and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic math skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule.

Responsibilities

• Checks all machine safety devices before operating equipment and records safety forms.
• Loads and unloads washers/dryers; manages slings and batch tickets.
• Ensures proper moisture levels and correct machine settings; documents weights.
• Re-stages batches, prevents mixing lots, and maintains clean, safe work areas.
• Identifies damaged slings and maintains safe loading procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
