Job summary

Vestis Corporation in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform lightweight and heavy-duty handling as part of a team in our industrial laundry facility. You will ensure safe, expeditious processing of merchandise entering and leaving the wash floor, and maintain accurate counts on PUC cards.

Responsibilities include preparing carts, verifying item types and quantities, recording damaged merchandise, and maintaining a safe work area while adhering to production standards.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Must understand and follow training, written and verbal instructions.
• Able to work in a warehouse with exposure to heat, dust, and noise.

Responsibilities

• Prepares daily slings or carts/carriers for the wash floor.
• Verifies merchandise type and quantity on PUC card; segregates like items together in a sling.
• Identifies counts and totals ruins or damaged merchandise and records on the PUC card.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment and follows production best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
