Job summary

Vestis® is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the PM shift in our industrial laundry facility. You will perform routine maintenance to ensure safe, expeditious operations with a focus on reliability and quality.

Responsibilities include servicing large washers/dryers, performing basic plumbing and electrical work, troubleshooting, and maintaining schedules and waste handling practices. The role requires teamwork and strict safety adherence.

Qualifications

• Must have demonstrated mechanical and basic electrical aptitude.
• Familiar with standard maintenance procedures and safety practices.
• Basic knowledge of industrial laundry equipment and applicable codes.
• Ability to follow training, written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintains plant equipment including high-volume washers and dryers.
• Repairs and replaces equipment; performs basic plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work.
• Troubleshoots issues using manuals and schematics; orders parts per policy.
• Maintains daily maintenance schedule and records; performs waste handling duties.
• Adheres to safety procedures, lock-out/tag-out and general safety rules.
