Job summary

Vestis is seeking a team member to perform warehouse duties in our Des Moines laundry facility. You will assist with preparing slings, verifying item counts, and moving merchandise on the wash floor while following safety and efficiency guidelines.

This full-time role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, working on a schedule that may include weekends, and contributing to a clean, safe work environment. A high school degree is preferred, and a strong team ethic is valued.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to understand training and instructions.
• Basic math skills and good communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepares appropriate numbers of daily slings or carts/carriers for the wash floor.
• Verifies merchandise type and quantity on PUC card; segregates like items together in a sling.
• Identifies counts, and totals ruin or damaged merchandise and records on the PUC card.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment, and observes best practices in all production activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
