Job summary

Vestis® is seeking a warehouse associate to perform safe and efficient handling of merchandise in an industrial laundry facility. You will work as part of a team, ensuring proper loading, running, and unloading of washers and dryers while maintaining accurate tickets and safety protocols.

The role requires attention to safety, basic math, and dependable attendance. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required in a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand all required training, written, and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic math skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule.

Responsibilities

• Checks all machine safety devices before operating equipment and signs the safety form.
• Loads washers/dryers correctly and verifies batch tickets to avoid mixing lots and batches.
• Records batch ticket information in the system and monitors moisture levels.
• Unloads washers and dryers, stages items, and ensures proper ticketing and cooling.
• Identifies torn slings and maintains a safe, clean work environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
