Qualifications

• Must understand training, written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills required for batch records and load calculations.
• Good verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must meet attendance schedule.

Responsibilities

• Check all machine safety devices before operating equipment and record on safety form.
• Load washer/dryer and prepare sling; stage batches to maximize utilization.
• Record batch ticket information on the machine form.
• Enter weight from batch ticket into SOFTROL for washer; verify dryer tickets.
• Unload washer/dryer, secure batch tickets, and transport to staging areas.
• Ensure moisture levels are correct, slings are not overloaded, and items are cooled properly.
• Identify slings with rips or tears and remove from service.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow production procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
