Job summary

Colonial Group in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a warehouse worker to join our industrial laundry facility team. You will safely and efficiently handle merchandise into and out of the facility, and support production activities.

The role requires standing, repetitive motions, bending and lifting, with possible weekend shifts and overtime. A high school diploma is preferred; you must follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and understand training, written and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic math.
• Good verbal and/or written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule.

Responsibilities

• Stages cart in lift table, secures safety chain, and raises the table.
• Folds linen, aprons, towels, table napkins, and/or fender/seat covers.
• Identifies and segregates merchandise not meeting quality standards (rips, tears, stains).
• Verifies merchandise quantity and bundles by type.
• Places bundles in correct storage bins, carts, or on shelves.
• Maneuvers full and empty baskets.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment, following production best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
