Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a dependable team member for our Amarillo, TX laundry facility. You will handle merchandise into and out of the plant, verify items on the PUC card, and maintain safety and efficiency on the floor.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work with temperature and weather exposure as needed. Some weekends and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand training, written, and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic math.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily slings or carts for the wash floor.
• Verify merchandise type and quantity on PUC card.
• Identify counts and totals of ruined or damaged merchandise and record on the PUC card.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and follow best production practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
