Job summary

Vestis is seeking an Industrial Laundry Mechanic to join the plant maintenance team in Springfield, MO. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and keep washers and dryers running safely and efficiently.

You will work from a daily schedule, order parts, and support safety procedures. The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical aptitude and the ability to operate in a high-volume laundry environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years maintenance experience required.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues following manuals.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs high-volume industrial washers and dryers.
• Performs basic plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work as needed.
• Troubleshoots equipment issues by following manuals and schematics; orders parts as required.
• Maintains daily maintenance schedule and records for all equipment.
• Ensures safety procedures and lock-out tag-out practices are followed.
