Job summary

Vestis in San Antonio/Austin TX is seeking a warehouse/utility associate to support laundry processing in a high-volume facility. You will stage, feed, fold, and bundle merchandise, ensuring items meet quality standards while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

The role requires the ability to follow training and schedules, perform basic math, and communicate effectively. You may work weekends and overtime as needed in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand all required training, written, and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic math skills.
• Good verbal and/or written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule.
• Shift schedule includes weekends and may require overtime.

Responsibilities

• Stage and feed merchandise on ironer to reduce wrinkling and tangling.
• Receive and fold merchandise from ironer.
• Identify and segregate merchandise not meeting quality standards (rip, tear, stains).
• Verify merchandise quantity and bundle by type; place bundles in storage carts.
• Maneuver full and empty carts and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
