Job summary

Vestis is seeking a team member to join our Tyler, TX warehouse operations. The role focuses on safe, expeditious handling of merchandise in an industrial laundry facility, with emphasis on accuracy and quality control.

You will stage, feed, fold, and sort towels, napkins, table clothes, and aprons, maintain a clean work area, and operate with attention to attendance, shift schedules, and occasional overtime as needed. High school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to understand training, written, and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills required.
• Good verbal and/or written communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to meet attendance schedule and work weekends.
• Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Stages and feeds merchandise on ironer properly to reduce wrinkling and tangling.
• Receives and folds merchandise from ironer.
• Identifies and segregates merchandise not meeting specified quality standards in terms of rips, tears, holes, and stains.
• Accurately verifies merchandise quantity and bundles by type. Places bundles in correct storage carts.
• Maneuvers full and empty carts.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment, and observes best practices in all production activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
