Job summary

Vestis in Dallas, TX seeks a maintenance technician to support a high-volume industrial laundry operation. Shift 1pm–9:30pm, Monday–Friday, with overtime as needed.

You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on washers and dryers, plumbing, mechanical and electrical tasks, and ensure safety and quality in daily operations. A high school diploma and 3–5 years maintenance experience are required; you will join a team focused on reliability and efficiency in a dynamic production

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical and basic electrical aptitude.
• Familiar with standard maintenance procedures and safety practices.
• Basic knowledge of industrial laundry equipment and codes.
• Ability to follow training and written/verbal instructions.
• Good verbal and/or written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Overtime availability and weekend flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Maintains plant equipment including high-volume washers and dryers.
• Repairs and replaces equipment; performs plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work.
• Troubleshoots issues using technical manuals and schematics.
• Orders parts, tools, and equipment per procurement policy.
• Maintains daily and preventive maintenance schedules and records.
• Removes and processes waste solids from treatment processes.
• Performs equipment troubleshooting and housekeeping for wastewater hardware.
• Maintains a safe, clean work environment and follows safety policies.
• Follows lock-out tag-out procedures and safety protocols.
• Other duties as required or assigned.
