Vestis is seeking a dedicated warehouse worker for our San Jose facility. You will handle garment sorting, routing, and quality checks while following safety procedures in a production setting.

The role involves standing, repetitive motions, and working shifts, including weekends, with overtime as needed. The position pays $14–$21 per hour, offers a hands-on team environment, and supports reliable attendance and adherence to a garment numbering system.

Qualifications

• Basic math and reading skills required.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to maintain regular attendance.
• Willingness to follow training and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with garment numbering system (GID) and shipping schedule board.
• Follow shipping schedule and route garments to sort areas.
• Remove garments from supply rail and place on appropriate conveyor or hook by route.
• Hang garments by batch (route first, then second, then third).
• Sort odd garments to correct spaces on odd-numbered bars.
• Inform supervisor of quality, mechanical, or scheduling issues.
• Monitor end of supply bars for falling garments and rehang as needed.
• Stop the line for jams or breaks and reset when necessary.
• Inspect garments for wrinkles, ink stains, tears, holes, missing buttons or loose tags.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow production best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned
