Job summary

Commercial Metals Company (CMC) offers a hands-on role across our recycling centers, fabrication plants, manufacturing facilities, steel mills and offices. This position supports safety, quality and production while you learn the steel reinforcement and construction industries and grow with a Fortune 500 company.

You’ll follow all safety policies, keep work areas clean, operate hand and power tools, work in kilns, set up forms, and load/unload materials.

Qualifications

• Exposed to high levels of concrete dust.
• Time management, must understand "urgency" of manufacturing.
• Regularly wear protective attire, such as hard hats and steel-toe boots.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company safety policies and wear personal protective equipment at all times.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure safety.
• Operate hand and power tools in a safe and effective manner
• Work in kilns, set up forms, and/or load and unload finished materials on trucks

Education

High School diploma or equivalent
