Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a capable hourly craft worker to perform labor-intensive tasks under supervision in an industrial setting. You may operate hand and power tools, prepare sites, dig trenches, erect scaffolding, and help other craft workers while maintaining safety.

Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work in heat, and follow written and oral instructions. At least 6 months in industrial work is preferred; on-site work across our U.S. locations.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience in an industrial setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform strenuous manual labor including lifting.
• Shovel asphalt or material into work areas.
• Assist in patching asphalt with hot and cold mix.
• Excavate and fill trenches and ditches.
• Maintain a clean, safe job site and secure tools daily.
• Load and unload trucks; move materials as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards promptly.
• Read and follow written and oral instructions.
