Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a General Laborer for an industrial contractor serving major facilities throughout the Upstate. The role is based in Piedmont, SC, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM and weekly pay.

This hands-on position offers growth into equipment operation as you gain experience on hot and dusty industrial sites. Ideal candidates have construction, concrete, or outdoor labor experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Good mechanical aptitude and outdoor construction experience.
• Basic English communication skills required; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform labor-intensive tasks on industrial job sites
• Assist with fire watch duties
• Push wheelbarrows and shovel materials
• Operate industrial vacuums and assist with concrete mixing
• Learn to safely operate handheld tools and small equipment
• Work as part of a small 2-3 person crew
• Perform work inside industrial facilities, including power plants and manufacturing sites
