Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking on-site labor craftsmen in Texas for physically demanding roles involving diverse tasks across construction sites. You will operate hand and power tools, assist skilled workers, and contribute to safe, efficient site operations.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of industrial experience, good communication, and the ability to follow safety procedures while lifting heavy objects and working in heat.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience in an Industrial setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform strenuous manual labor, including lifting 25+ lbs., bending, kneeling, climbing, and heat exposure.
• Shovel bituminous concrete or other material into construction areas.
• Assist in patching asphalt with hot/cold mix; excavate and fill trenches.
• Maintain a clean job site; secure tools and area daily to prevent hazards.
• Load/unload trucks and hoist materials as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and report issues to Foreman or Safety staff.
• Assist other craft workers and follow written and oral instructions.
