Job summary

Austin Industries, Inc. is hiring a General Laborer to perform a variety of labor-intensive tasks in an industrial setting under supervision. You may operate hand and power tools, prepare sites, load materials, and assist other craft workers.

This role requires physical stamina and reliability; you will follow safety procedures, maintain a clean site, and report hazards. No formal education is required, and at least 6 months of industrial experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• No formal education requirements.
• 6+ months experience in an industrial setting preferred.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks involving strenuous manual labor.
• Shovel asphalt or other material into construction areas.
• Assist in patching asphalt with hot and cold mix.
• Maintain a clean, safe job site and secure tools daily.
• Load/unload trucks and handle materials.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards to foreman.
• Lift heavy objects and work long hours in adverse conditions.
