Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician license required (TX or reciprocal).
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years prior experience in commercial or industrial construction electrical work.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes blueprints, schematics, and drawings to ensure proper installation.
• Plans layout and installation of wiring, equipment, and fixtures per codes and specs.
• Prepares work area and ensures tools, materials, and equipment are ready.
• Continually works safe to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Connects wiring and equipment per code and job specification.
• Inspects systems to identify hazards and necessary repairs to ensure safety.
• Trains/monitors Apprentices to install, maintain, or repair wiring.
• Advises on hazardous conditions and participates in trainings.
• Documents activities and supports emergency safety responses.
