Job summary

Southwest Electrical Contracting Services LLC is seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians with 5+ years in industrial settings to join our team in Childress, TX. Ideal candidates will have data center, refinery, or heavy industrial experience, strong NEC knowledge, and leadership abilities for mentoring apprentices.

Qualified applicants must hold a Texas Journeyman Electrician license, prefer OSHA 30, and be capable of safely installing and commissioning large feeders such as 750 MCM cable

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial electrical experience.
• Texas Journeyman Electrician License (TDLR) required.
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
• Experience with 750 MCM cable and large feeders.
• Experience installing switchgear, transformers, MCCs, panels, and industrial equipment.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and NEC specifications.
• Ability to lead crews and work safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Install ½"–2" EMT, IMC, Rigid, and PVC conduit systems.
• Pull feeders, including 750 MCM cable and other large conductors.
• Install and terminate power distribution equipment, switchgear, panels, transformers, and MCCs.
• Install cable tray, supports, and electrical raceways.
• Read blueprints and one-line diagrams and specifications.
• Install, terminate, and troubleshoot power, lighting, and control systems.
• Lead apprentices and ensure safety compliance.
