Job summary

Austin Industrial seeks an Insulator - Metal Man to apply, remove, and repair insulation on ducts, pipes, tanks and boilers to control heat and noise. Read blueprints and select materials accordingly.

You will cut and fit insulation, wrap surfaces, and secure with covers or tape. Must have NCCER certification, TWIC and a valid driver’s license; able to work at heights and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Experience with insulating materials and application on surfaces.
• 4 years of scaffolding experience preferred.
• NCCER certification, TWIC and valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and select insulation material.
• Work at heights with no fear.
• Fit, wrap, or attach insulation material to structures.
• Measure and cut insulation material to size and shape.
• Secure insulation with covers, tape, or sealant.
• Other duties as assigned.
