Job summary

The Insulator will be responsible for applying, removing, and repairing insulation on industrial equipment, pipes, ductwork, or other mechanical systems at our Pawtucket site. This full-time role requires precise work and adherence to safety standards.

You will measure, cut, and fit insulation materials, cover with jacketing, and install protective sheet metal as needed on various systems; OSHA 10 certification preferred and 3–5 years' experience is typical.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or relevant field experience.
• 3-5 years of experience as an Industrial Mechanical Insulator.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Industrial insulation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Insulate building, tanks, vessels, boilers, steam, and hot or cold water pipes.
• Measure and cut insulation for coverings using tape measures and knives.
• Cover, seal, or finish insulated surfaces with jacketing, sealants, tapes or mastic.
• Install sheet metal around insulated equipment to protect insulation from weather.
• Follow safety rules and instructions and work with team or independently.
