Job summary

Massimo Zanetti Beverage USA in Suffolk, VA is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform audits, calibration, preventive maintenance and repair of plant instrumentation and control systems. You will work with PLCs, VFDs, MMIs, and various electrical/electronic instruments to keep factory equipment running smoothly.

Responsibilities include installing and testing sensors, reading blueprints, maintaining logs, and coordinating with production, maintenance and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum three years in related role.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Journeyman electrician with strong problem-solving.
• Experience with PLCs, MMI, PC programming, NEC/NFPA-70E and ISA standards.
• Experience in industrial environment, preferably a food manufacturing facility.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
• Work in non-climate controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform programming and maintain PLC, VFD, MMI documentation, including Wonder Ware and Allen-Bradley Software.
• Specify and order parts as necessary to perform repairs or installations.
• Complete daily maintenance and repair logs.
• Perform electrical construction work (conduit, wiring).
• Clean and maintain work area.
• Comply with safety rules, GMPs and plant policies.
• Communicate with plant production, maintenance and engineering personnel.
• Install, maintain, repair, calibrate and test instrumentation (level, flow, pressure, temperature).
• Make periodic preventative maintenance inspections of metering/controlling devices; calibrate and adjust.
