Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking an instrument fitter for the Spring, TX site to install and calibrate instrumentation used to measure and control variables such as pressure, flow and temperature. Must be able to read blueprints and install instruments, wiring, and related components on industrial equipment.

Qualified candidates will have 4 years of Journeyman experience, NCCER instrumentation certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 4 years of Journeyman level experience required.
• NCCER-Inst Fttr certification required.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Reads and works from related blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Installs and/or removes instrumentation devices.
• Calibrates recorders, alarms, switches and other devices.
• Maintains safety procedures and PPE compliance.
