Job description

Lead Technical Recruiter / Sourcing Manager at Globalpundits, Inc.

Provide support as a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) to ensure worker protection by establishing baseline data and monitoring exposure levels to chemicals, organic vapors, dust, and other potential hazards, in accordance with OSHA, NIOSH, and ACGIH standards. The subcontractor will conduct air sampling analysis either in-house or through an accredited laboratory.

Project responsibilities include:

1. Using direct read instrumentation for air monitoring to detect potential acid/organic vapors during chemical batch processes.
2. Conducting personal air monitoring for fugitive particulates.
3. Monitoring confined spaces for oxygen levels, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, and other contaminants.
4. Monitoring Hexavalent Chromium during welding operations.
5. Maintaining silica exposure controls and monitoring workers for compliance with respirable silica standards.
6. Providing necessary IH equipment for air monitoring.
7. Reviewing chemical storage and site plan layouts.
8. Assisting with chemical packaging and transportation from the ATC to the AEL.
9. Participating in hazardous waste evaluations and reporting to the Washington State Department of Ecology.
