Job summary

Atlas is seeking an Industrial Hygiene Technician in New York, NY to perform air sampling and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. You will collect air samples and oversee abatement work, contributing to safe, sustainable projects for public and private clients.

The role requires a NYS DOL Asbestos Air Sampling Technician license, a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel at least 30 miles and lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

  • Must hold NYS DOL Asbestos Air Sampling Technician license and Project Monitor license.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 30-hour Construction Safety & Health training completed.
  • Ability to travel at least 30 miles.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

About the Job
  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Compensation: $19 - $24 hourly rate
    The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state’s law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
