The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned. Work independently and with hourly employees, safety committees, and management to complete job safety analyses. Using the job safety analyses complete an operational risk assessment to identify high risk aspects of each job as well as jobs that may pose more risk than others. Using ALARP (As Low As Reasonably Practicable) risk reduction principles identify potential actions that can be taken to reduce identified risks. Develop and administer, via e-learning style, training on the completion of job safety analyses and operational risk assessments.
