Job summary

Austin Industrial seeks an HVAC Mechanical Technician to perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial HVAC equipment at our Texas site. You will troubleshoot electrical and control systems, conduct inspections, and develop preventive maintenance plans to maximize uptime and safety.

The role requires 2–3 years in industrial HVAC, familiarity with CMMS and Confluence, and a focus on safety, quality, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of HVAC principles, including thermodynamics, psychrometrics, and heat transfer.
• Experience with cooling tower maintenance and repair, water treatment, and chemical handling.
• Electrical and control systems troubleshooting and repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment and systems.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts inventory.
• Provide technical support during commissioning and startup of new HVAC equipment.
