Job summary

Westinghouse's WECTEC Staffing Services in Seneca, SC is seeking an HVAC Technician for an on-site outage position.

The successful candidate will remove, repair and install HVAC equipment in an industrial setting and must be able to work in hot, cold and confined spaces; two+ years' experience; eligibility for Unescorted Access to a nuclear facility.

The role offers competitive pay and benefits; base salary is $47.25/hour with standard benefits including 401(k) and paid vacations.

Qualifications

• Two or more years' experience as a HVAC Technician in an Industrial environment.
• Ability to obtain unescorted access to a nuclear facility where applicable.
• Work in hot, cold and confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Rod out containment air handlers.
• Remove pump hatch and lower VR motor to containment.
• Repair/Replace VR motor.
• Periodic inspections on all containment air handlers and fans.
• Repack drive bearings.
• Remove and replace test dampers.
